Replace the stock 79 spring?
I'm in the middle of a rear end rebuild and am trying to figure out if I should replace the rear spring.
Not going to be doing any major performance upgrades on the engine so is anything but the stock spring necessary?
Does it need replacing after 33 years?

yes it needs replaced after holding up a 3400lb car for 30 years
also it would be stupid not to replace it considering that a new 9 leaf spring only costs a hundred an fifty bucks
