Although I had the dash out etc, I can't remember if I can get to the upper hinge bolts by taking out the kick panel only? Will I need to pull the lower dash panels again? Sort of a lazy question I guess, but it popped into my head yesterday and I won't have time to work on the car until the weekend.
You can get to the hinges by removing just the kick panels the top is a littler harder to get to. If you are just looking to remove the door its easier to unbolt the hinges at the door itself.
Hi,
You MIGHT reach the upper hinge bolts on the right side, but not on the left side. Too much going on there with the astro duct, hood release bracket/cable, and the harness.

Alan

You are correct Alan, I had to remove my drivers side lower dash when reassembling after paint.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the responses. The right side door needs to come out on the top edge and that side is easy to pull the lower dash pad so no worries there. The left door is very close as it is, and I might be able to adjust it with the striker.
Help me out Alan if I am not correct its been a while. Up and down adjustment made from the hinges inside the door. Forward and backwards from the hinge post.
Nice pics Rogman! I'll need to shim my upper hinge a little to accomplish what I need, but this may come in handy as well for final fitting after I get it shimmed up.
