What exactly did you do when you worked on your gauges? Were those lamps working correctly before you started?
The seat belt lamp should be easy to fix, the door ajar lamp issue could be caused by a few different things.

Thanks Rick! I just got it corrected. Everything worked fine before disassembly. The seat belt warning prob was another case of bad repro part. The new button has a longer spring and was not allowing contact with the micro switch. Swamped springs and all is good. Never throw away even broken parts. The door light was operator error
I've now R & R'd the gauge console 4 times maybe tomorrow night will be the charm. Still not as bad as a midyear.
