I am glad to be back in the Vette family since selling my C5 a year ago.
Purchased from a fellow vette club member. I just had the wheels powder coated.
396 with 700R4 transmission and headers.

congrat on your new '79 look real good.I do like your wheels. I have a diferent version but i do like the look those wheels looks on corvettes.

I love the wheels too.
I remember those wheels back
in the late 70's and early 80's. Those
wheels were so popular back then.
In my area (east tennessee), we
referred to that style of wheel as
"hurricane" mag wheels.
Back to the corvette, ... that one
is a keeper. Nice ride .....

Wheels look great and so does the car. Personally I really like the normal size tires (white letter) and rims on the C3's. I have a close friend who owns a tire store here and he did a frame off on a 70 Chevelle SS 454 convertible and put the larger wheels and tires on it and to me, it just took away from the car.
