Default C3 Frame height

Can anyone tell me what the height is from the floor to the top of the gas tank with it still on frame of a 1975. I am trying to see if I have enough ceiling height in the garage to life the body off. Or how high do you need to lift the body to clar the frame.

Thanks,
Danny

I'm not certain of the measurement, but the top of the fuel tank sits almost directly below the surface of the rear surround panel. The fuel tank collar is about the only thing under the fuel door.

Measure from the floor to the surface of the rear surround panel and you will be very close.

You can pull the fuel tank prior to taking the body off the frame. You can also gain clearance by removing the wheels and setting the frame on 4x4 wood blocks.
