Default parking brake armrest

I am looking at purchasing a parking brake cushion armrest from eBay. But my question is how do they install? Is their a latch or something to keep it in place.

Good to know, I was wondering the same thing. Mine isn't attached at all and there were 2 small screw holes in the top of the e-brake cover, so I didn't know if it was supposed to be attached or not.

A PO had likely installed [and removed] a cup holder on that e-brake housing, prior to you purchasing it. There were no holes in the top of that housing from the factory. There is no need to attach that cushion to the housing.
