Grilles -

The front bumper cover is the same for '73 and '74 but the grilles are different? The only thing I can see is that the '73 has a chrome front edge. Am I missing anything else?

Thanks for any help,
Adam

Thanks Rogman... I typically use the Search feature but I was so excited about the new bumper cover I didn't think of it

What's funny is I used a normal google search which gave me the CF post... Do you have a good line on a set of 74 grills??

I do the same thing. Google often times points me back here.

On the grilles - nope. I'm not that far along yet. I'll need grilles and turn signal assemblies and then will need to figure out a mounting system. Fabrication is not one of my strengths, but I have a feeling I'll be improving that skill soon.

From Corvette 1968-1982 Restoration Guide (Richard Price):

In 1973 the front grille assemblies are made from die-cast pot metal. They are painted semi-gloss black, with the leading edges of the hortizontal bars chrome plated. In 1974 they are made from die-cast aluminum instead of pot metal and are painted entirely semi-flat black with no chrome accents.
