From whom did you order, what exactly didn't fit ?
Like I wrote, I am in for a new set for my early 68, but only want the best and have a guarantee of good fitment because I don't want to ship back & fwd overseas.
Good work. I had issues with some parts from CA and they worked with me to satisfaction. The parts wouldn't fit and got a full refund.
Question, where did you get the steering wheel? I want to get one and also install the tilt setup
The steering wheel I purchased through Ecklers, #39429. It was $99.99
The tilt steering is from Flaming River Industries, #FR2001VTAEB. It was $529. The tilt steering was hard to install. I had to make brackets and had to weld them to the steering column. I also made an aluminum cover for the bottom end of the column to dress it up. It was not a bolt in project for a 68.

Thanks & rgds. Günther
The panels I got from Corvette America looked and fit great. The only problem was with the plastic clips. If you can get original clips and install them on new panels it should look great. 2 clips at the top of the door panel don't engage but there are 2 screws that hold it tight. Hope this helps.
Mike, I documented some interior items and the outside mirror change in the middle 70's on 68's before the NCRS did. I noticed the differences and started collecting the data and the S/N on 68's. They claim the first door pull was used up to at least s/n 15,776. I found them up to 16,825. They claim after s/n 19,533 the second horizontal camaro handle was added. I found them starting with 17,846. This isn't exact, just the cars that I ran across in N.E. Ohio. But we had vettes from all over attend All Corvette Day at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky,Oh. When I can find my info, I will have to share it with the 68-69 NCRS guy. Most of my information was published in the April 1977 issue of Vette Vues magazine.
As a reference, my 68 has original panels. VIN 16367 No Pulls
I am anyway overall happy with AlKnoch parts , carpets, seat covers, seat foams etc. Great stuff. Great that this is still available for such old cars.

....my old Silver '68 March 19th #14222 didn't have the "extra" horizontal pull, but my May 6th '68 #18434 convertible does.
