Default 72 horn button ( need help )

My neiighbor bought a nice 72 but the horn button was off in the glove box. He bought an install kit. He asked me for help and I can not find any spring that makes the button return. I have looked on the internet and can find an exploded view but it doesn't have much detail. If anyone has a good link of pictures I'd appreciate it....

There is no spring for the horn button. It snaps over the mounting ring - friction fit. There is an L shaped leg on the mounting ring which operates the horn. The horn contact beneath the L shaped leg has a spring in it.

Thanks for the help, I saw the ( L ) shaped bracket and the retainer ring. I could see where the L tab touches the small rod with the spring around it. And I can see how the button is friction fit to hold it on. But when each piece is installed it doesn't seem to move in and out. Thanks

The button doesn't move in and out. It rocks from side to side, flexing the flange which the button attaches to. The piece described above has two parts which are insulated from one another. When you press on the edge where the button mounts, it flexes the flange, makes contact with the portion which is bolted to the column. There should be three (or is it four?) nylon rivets holding the two parts together. Tough to describe without a photo. Hope this makes some sense of you study the part.
