So I made one. Finished the seats, so on to the cheesy armrest. Thought about a cup holder, but couldn't do that to a C3.

Man, I like that. Did you cover that in leather or vinyl? Can't tell from the pic.

I ended up buying a cushion for the top of mine from ebay, black with a silver corvette emblem on it. Brought it to about the height you've raised yours to. BUt that's a good lean look.

If you can make one with a storage compartment, then I think many people here will buy one from you.

It is covered in pleather and roughly the same height as the original+ the padded pieces available. Maybe I'll make a mold, and make one out of fiberglass with storage

Hey, that's really nice! Lot better than the aftermarket padded armrest on top of the regular armrest. Plus the regular armrest gets flimsy after a while. I agree with others, storage would be a great additon, maybe a fused always-hot cell phone charger too.

How did you secure it to the car?

Thanks again. That was my original thought...Make it look stock.

It is attached to the existing metal frame which bolts to the hump and console.

It's nice to see someone that makes their own interior parts for their car. I am like most and have to order from a vendor and pay out the yang yang.
