Standing back and looking at my 73 this afternoon i noticed that it leans slightly to the drivers side.
Upon further inspection i measured on level ground, in the garage, center of the rear wheels from the ground to the wheel well.
Drivers side - 29-1/8"
Passenger side - 29-3/8"
Out a 1/4" but it is noticeable.
What would be the main cause of this?
I was thinking the main leaf spring which seems to not have a whole lot of curve left to it but not 100% certain.
If it is the leaf spring , would you recommend a new steel spring or composite?
If not the spring where would be the best place to start looking for the cause?
Ps ... I looked at the rear body mounts and they both appear to be ok.
Go up a little on one spring bolt, down a little on the other. Drive. Remeasure. Repeat as necessary.
.25" ain't much.
After 48+ years, I lean a little to one side, too.
