Default 1970 with A/C question

Hi everyone,

I have a 1970 350/300hp with A/C... in my assembly manual the fan has GM Part#3955182, from what I understand is a 7 blade fan with a 17 1/2" diameter.

Well it looks like these are simply not reproduced. I've looked at all the parts suppliers, and it doesn't appear to be available.

My question is that they all seem to have a 71-77 fan which is a 7 blade fan with a diameter of 17 1/2". Does anyone know if this can fit on a 1970 with A/C or not? I am not really concerned with it being dated properly... I'm simply looking for a 7 blade fan that will fit.

Thanks,
Ragtop1970

I think you're okay with any 17 1/2", seven blade Corvette fan. My Parts and Illustration Catalogue says any production fan can be swapped for any with similar diameter.

Your fan was also used on 69s.
