Again THANKS for all the support, we really got to meet some great people. I hope I will be ready to make next years run. I don't know if I will rebuild this Maybe, I will wate to see what the insurance has to say
Then after I take all the front end off I guess I will know then, Right now I can't even open the hood with out cutting away the fenders...
Will get back to you soon.
Wow very sorry I cannot imagine how scared your wife must've been. Sometimes these things happen so fast there is no time to under or over correct you just get tossed around. Glad you/she didn't get hurt. Hopefully good news from hagerty will make this a rebuild story
As I said in one of the other threads "Holly Molly" glad you and ther crew are alright!! Jezz....one minute everything is rosy...and the next second, all hell breaks out! You must be really heart struck by now...and really feel for you!!
Freakn' gravel...nearly got us last year....we were on an on ramp (double lane) on ramp. We were leading the pack...as we all merged on the ajoining Hwy.1 (they had been doing road work in the area) we got sideways Probably doing around 60/65...we were not only sideways....were sideways on both sides TWICE! All I could do was....WOT and try to keep the nose heading down stream. If I had spun...we would have had at least, least....two of the 15 cars behind T-bone us.
I tell ya...it took us, Joanne and I...at least 10 minutes (down the road), to finally catch our breaths and look at each other...wow is all we could muster...
Bottom line....Keep safe everyone! Drivn' season is here, be safe!! Muddy

Hope you and the wife can get this behind you and chalk it up as experience. Sorry for the car getting wrecked and hope it can be assessed fairly, to consider what the next step will be. Happy you weren't seriously hurt.
