First off thanks to everbody for the support and help after my f up on the solvang cruse. I called hargerty when I got back saturday, and this morning they called back they will have an adjuster out within 48 hours.
also the flatbed cost $510 over my 100 mile coverage. they said send in the bill and they will send a check right away. So for now here are some pictures and the frame is damaged.

Darrow,

I wish there was something more I/ we could have done for you. We all felt so bad for you, but like we said, at least there were no serious injuries. Good luck with Haggerty and the car. Hope to see you again next year with the 73!

Hello Darro,

Sorry to hear about your accident. We all make mistakes at times but cars are replaceable - people are not. Very glad to hear you are OK and are working with your insurance company. I hope it all works out as well as possible for you.

How's u'r wife's neck? Hopefully the soreness has dissipated.

I know it's a stereotypical phrase but it's very true, it easily (u missed several trees) could have been so much worse.

A damaged car, classic or not, is a minor matter compared to being maimed or death.

Time to finish that project in the garage.

Sorry to hear what happened Darrow. I'll be down in a couple of weeks and will buy the first round. See if that helps a little.

That sucks. Sorry for your loss.

Are you going to try and fix it? Will your insurance cover the repairs?

Darrow, sorry to read about your accident and even worse to see the pictures. As others have said be thankful that no one was seriously hurt and well the car can always be repaired or in the worst case be replaced.

You seem to be handling this very well.....you have lots of support...glad everyone walked away. Note to self....do NOT try and go 4 wheeling in up the mountain your 73 corvette.
