Good lookin' ride Dose - - congrats - - I'm partial to the `73 model.

The first thing we did with ours was to replace all the bushings and body mounts - - after 39 years, they really needed it and I suspect that may be at the core of your noise issue.

Who needs a radio? Your side pipes produce the sweetest music you're going to hear - - but I don't recall seeing any type of sidepipe cover that can be used with that style of side exhaust.

I set up a "wish list" on the Eckler's website and add items as a find them - - and scratch them off as I can afford them.

So- how many times did you look out in the garage last night ?

Enjoy-

She looks great...$40 well spent if you have a shop with that kind of experience nearby. Enjoy.

Hi Dose,
I'll bet you're excited and for good reason... a new, old, Corvette in the garage!
I hope you have good luck and lots of pleasure!
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the compliments guys!!!

Oh and as for that drip I found. It wasn't coming from the front of the car at all...I forgot that I parked in reverse earlier in the day...

Long story short...I already knew about this leak I took pictures of it earlier. So here it is...and now...to fix it...

Conrats! We all love our 73s. I agree just drive it for a while before you do anything other than just enjoy it. Take your time before you do anything else.

Very nice car. I'm kinda biased because I like black on black (hint) Vettes.
I know your going to enjoy your perdy Vette like we all do. Take advantage of cruzes with the wife. Mine is very claustrophobic and hasn't ever even sat in mine, oh darn. She doesn't like the motor home either but that's another story. I don't get any back seat driver stuff though, like slow down or you're gonna kill us. She likes the new Jeep I bought her last year. The Vette is mine.
