My Coupe was built one day after your car (F09) and the LOF glass dates are...
Windshield Glass LOF Date - AT (Sep 1970)
Passenger Door Glass LOF Date - VT (Dec 1970)
Driver Door Glass LOF Date - Not Original
Removable Rear Window LOF Date - AT (Sep 1970)
...My car was built on 1/08/71 so I need a glass that was made in the last half of 1970...
Fall of 1970 could work for you. There was a stike beginning about September 15th, 1970 which shut down 71 production. There were no October cars. Production did not resume until about Thanksgiving.
For your early January car, the original back glass could have been at St. Louis during any of the proceeding months.
Now I understand the date codes in NCRS pg41. They are for all glass, not just one piece. NCRS only referenced the windshield and sides so I thought the rear was different, but apparently it is not.
Thanks for the education.

Hi gb,
You need to note the last sentence in the glass dating description on page 41.
"no more than twelve months".
Glass is an exception to the usual six month date period.
Within six months is typical for glass, while up to twelve months is possible, but the exception.
Regards,
Alan
