Default The Best stress reliever ever??? I think so

So yesterday I had a super stressful day, plus my leg/ankle was killing me. It hurts everyday but yesterday was awful. I start work at 630am...didn't get home til 8ish...I Pulled up my driveway opened the garage door and stared at the rear of the 73 for about 45 seconds...looked at the sky...saw I had about 45 minutes of daylight left...back my car out of the driveway, parked it on the street and hopped in the 73.

I only drove for about 30 minutes...went to Panda express, a couple exits away and back...but boy I tell you those 30 mins were the best part of my day and during that time nothing else mattered, not a care in the world...Best feeling ever.

Everyone needs to "get away", now and then. And we've got the best possible way to do that!!

Whattup Dose?
BEST stress release? It'd get my vote for 2ND best, for sure.

I had about the same amount of time between the highschool and the college work yesterday, did the same thing, and man, I'm still smiling.

My Corvettes have been my (#2) stress reliever for more than 30 years.

After the challenges of work or family, nothing beats a wrench or a ride.

my girlfriend, a very perceptive person, says when I'm working on or driving my vette, that I'm getting corvette therapy, first woman that I've ever been with that understood that, guess I'd better keep'er.

I'm a happy camper ever time I come home (after 13 hour days), click the remote for the garage, and as the door slides up I see my awesome car in there...! Sometimes I'll just water the lawn and check her out!

I have the interior torn out right now so it'll be a while before I can hop in and go for a drive.....but soon!

Dose, I completely understand yesterday I came home after a long stressful day and spent a couple of hour working on my new interior install. My wife said I came back in the house a different person. I was calm and relaxed. I love my Vette.

Love that feeling!

I like to watch Mecum for a little bit and then get the "itch" to go driving.

Have to agree.....used to ride a bike, the time spent in quiet reflection helped me through a lot of rough patches in my life. Now married to a wonderfully understanding girl, who's only request is that I don't make her into a "Corvette Widow". The car allows me to release a lot of that pent up energy that you guys are referring to, so when I walk in the door, I can give her the attention and respect she deserves.......kinda like 4 wheel therapy....

HAHA, Yeah I guess maybe it is the #2 stress reliever! Unless the person that can provide the #1 stress reliever is the one causing some of the stress lol. Plus unless something goes wrong...a drive can last as long as you want it to

Here Ya Go Adam...I might take some high res pics tonight...but for now..
