My upper shifter boot has a tear in it and I ordered a replacement that looks a little different than the one I am replacing and was wondering if which one is correct. The one on the car now has a little bit of a gloss to it and the replacement one is more of a flat (non-glossy).
Thanks
Hi 69,
I could only find 2 pictures of the 1969 2 bellows boots.
They're black and white pictures and it looks to me like the rubber has a bit of gloss.
Maybe some PLEDGE (?) on your new boot would help, but not anything like armor-all (too shiny?).
Regards,
Alan
