Default Lighting Issues

1979 Corvette, Automatic.

Started off with no headlights, up or down or illumination. Fixed vacuum issues, so they now raise and lower properly. Had no power to headlights, but all other lights were working correctly and as should. Installed new headlight switch and dimmer switch while I had dash apart. Reinstall, now theres no lights anywhere. Everything is plugged in correctly. Rears and all marker lights have always worked even with headlights inop. Now nothing.

New headlight switch to raises/lowers headlights properly, but like I said no lights anywhere now. Any ideas as to the issue?

Use a test light or volt meter to systematically trace how far you have current. Do you have current going into the headlight switch? If yes, check the circuit going forward until you find where you lose power. If not, then check the circuit going backwards until you find where you lose power. It can be a lot of work, but it's a fairly simple concept.
