Default Driver's Air Vent Replacement

Hi All,

Can anyone explain how to easily get the old/broken, driver's side vent out and the new vent in?

Thanks! Karl

Well, if you are refering to the vent by the left foot. Remove the chrome ball and the plastic kick panel. Then you should be able to lift the door up and kick the bottom post out and remove the assy.
If you are talking about the eye ball vent it is removed from behind the panel, I think it was held on by 3 each 5/16" head screws. Will be a bear to work on without removing the entire panel.

I just installed a vintage air system. The drivers side ball is a bxxch to take out but I did it by lowering the steering colum and pulling the dash panel forward a few inches. Still wasn't fun.
