What are you guys using for wax these days? I have not waxed the 81 in a very long time, today I went to wax it and the wax was full of mold!
So, what is everyone using? Looking for something that goes on/off easy.

I chamois the car dry at each wash and have lately been using Turtle Wax "Wax and Dry". It comes in a spray bottle, simply spritz and chamois. I use it each week when the car gets washed, it's safe for plastics, glass, chrome and black trim (no white residue!) and the car always feels slick and beads water well. Since application is almost effortless and I'm drying the car anyway I heartily recommend it. Flame suit on for the "miracle goo" crowd.......

If you're just looking for a quick and easy wax on wax off with zero paint correction then Meguiars Next Gen Tech 2.0 is good along with Surf City Garage Carnuba liquid wax.

I've switched to all Adam's Polishes products. I just gave mine the works this weekend: wash, clay bar, hand polish, brilliant glaze, and paste wax.

Really happy with the result.

Thanks everyone,
I used Zaino many years ago, it worked VERY good, but a little expensive. I think I am going to give the Meguiares a try.
Thanks again. I'll post up sme pictures when I am done.
Looking through the old closet today and found my OLD camera that we bought back in 1971! Its a Yashica TL-Electro, still have all the special lenses for it. COOL!

I use Zaino. Waxing is passe'. Polymer polish (PP) is where it's at these days. Too many advantages over waxing:

Easier to apply; you can apply it in full sun and leave it that way without any problem; easier to remove excess; easier to buff; better shine; you can put PP over itself and it just gets better; and, with Zaino, there is no white residue in cracks and around joints.

What's not to like? Throw the wax in the trash...

Another vote for Zaino When you consider how little product you use with each application it is cheaper than over the counter products. Great shine and superior durability. I've tried them all. I can probably do 50 cars with one bottle of their Clear Sealant. Wipe it on and NO buffing. Zaino is tops IMO.

I'm a believer in carnauba wax products....using Adams products now. Zaino and products like it do give a great lasting shine but to me it's a plastic like shine (no depth). Carnauba wax gives a depth of color that can't be equaled by synthetic polymers....of course this is in my humble opinion.

Mine has been painted, so I still have to wait another 4 months or so before I can wax it. I use Jax Wax on my other vehicles, so I will use it on the Vette as well. It's pretty good stuff, goes on and comes off nice and easy.

Also add me to the Adam's list - love it and I find it much easier to use than Zaino. It is a great line of products.

I have used the Wet Obsession wax for my day to day car. Looks great. Water runs off like ducks back. --> but it is expensive.

See this video on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZQFkWRfRhw

I have also used the Tech Wax too. But I feel it doesn't give as depth a shine as the W.O.

I want to try Zaino and adams, but have not got around to it.

Where would you get these polymer polish? I have not see any in the car sections at stores.

Never tried Adams...Used Zeino for years have been using FINISH FIRST for the last 4-5 years...not a wax its more like a glase like liquid glass... easy on and easy off. can do the entire car in 30 minutes ...

With 6 Corvettes in my garage (and none of them come out unless they shine) I buy the stuff in gallons..

Bob G

It works fine...but I use it mainly because it is so easy to use...
