Pictures........first..then we can talk.

Like others have said.... if is truly all you said it is.. then maybe you can make some money on a re sale and get something that wont ruin an original low mileage car.

But then again, its an 82 which if you like that body style and is so clean ... you have a great platform by which to hotrod and you don't have all the rough work of cleaning rust and decay.

Guess it depends on what you could get selling it compared to what it will cost to get a clean project to hotrod and complete.

Exactly, same thought crossed my mind..

I swear, some of you guys act like it's a little baby left on the doorstep. Dilemma, dilemma. What to do? Keep it, raise it, love it. Or send it off to a, god knows, cruel foster home where it might not be treated well.

dbateman, if you've been very, very good for a long time thinking an '82 Vette was car-nut heaven, then you've been wasting your time being good.

Contrary to a few hand-wringers on this forum, there's nothing special about that Vette no matter how few miles are on it. I'm sure some would suggest you donate it to a museum; put it up on a pedestal. Yeah, that's the ticket! Then those so inclined can get down on their knees and venerate it to their heart's content. And, of course, celebrate its birthday like another member of the family or the pet dog.

25,406 other '82 owners are looking how to make their cars stand out from the crowd. Because a stock '82 Vette is only something special in their own minds. It was the last year of the 14 year C3 run. By '82 it was a Corvette in name only.

While we still live in a free country, mod it to you own liking. You won't hurt anything doing so.
