Bad Title

Rant time....!

Ok....based on the "title" of this thread - you would think I was referring to the vechicle title....but I'm not and THAT is the point of this thread.....

I wish my fellow Corvette peeps would use better thread titles....I see things like:
"Question about..." Question about WHAT ?!!! LOL...!

Or "can I get your thoughts on..." - but they don't say what about in the title !

I bet they miss out on a lot of great answers because their threads get skipped over ........

OK - rant over !

So it seems that since the title of your thread, "bad title" is actually about threads that are poorly titled, then the title of this thread is a good title.

Dude, that's what the 'mouse-over' feature is for. Anyway, after being on this forum for years, ya pretty much get a flavor for what the content will be based on the title. The titles don't bother me. I kind of like zany titles that make ya think..

I think "The Duchess of York" is a bad title. I always thought "The Duke of Earl" was a great title!

I'm with you here, Jlr. I know internet forum postings weren't covered by your sixth grade English teacher, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be some kind of convention for them.
Titles should be concise and unambiguous if you want someone to read the posting. It just makes sense
