Instrument lights 74 C#
My panel or instrument lights are not working. Checked the fuse first and it's okay. Checked with trouble light and am not getting power to the fuse. So I am correct in thinking the light switch is defective?
Don't forget to change out the speakers in the dash, while you're in there.

Center gauge cluster and the wiper switch ground through the center terminal of the water temp gauge, check there for a good ground. The other end of that 14 gauge black ground wire is connected to the A pillar just under the drivers dash.
Make sure that both sides of each 3 fuses are good:
Tail light
Courtesy
Instrument
Jumper from courtesy light fuse to instrument light fuse.
If the dash bulbs light up the rheostat in the headlight switch is bad.
