fan switch

Default fan switch
My fan switch works fine but when you put it on highest speed it goes off. 1975 coup any ideas?

There is a relay for hi, and a fusible link in that circuit. When you push the switch to hi, it closes the relay and feeds the blower thru a 10ga red wire. The relay or the fuse link is the highest probablity of your fault.

Thanks I was thinking it was the resistor .I hate changing things that are not the problem.That relay must be that silver box located right there next to resistor?
