I came across a wall mural of a 1978 Pace Car that looks to be about 8 foot tall and maybe 10-15 foot long. It reads "welcome pace car", has a Chevrolet logo and then the pace car, all on about 18-21 panels. I believe it may be the full mural pictured behind the popular "Barn find - 1978 car with 13 miles", as it sat dirty in the showroom.
Does anyone know anything about these wall murals? The one I have is still folded and does not appear to have ever been hung on a wall.
It could be a promo banner from when the Pace Car (1978) was originally released. Either way, it would be a great banner to have....if you have a wall big enough to show it!

I'm not sure what it is.. but I have two of the 78 pace car bill boards... huge monsters that came in sections that are about 4' x 8' (I don't know for sure, I've never opened one all the way).
I was going to put one up in the shop but elected to pass since it would only deteriorate. I'm looking into a way to possibly cover it and assemble it on panels should I elect to remove it at some point it can be done.
I was thiking I may sell it, as I am sure there is an avvid collector of the 78 Pace Car items. Mine is an 80, so while it's really cool and would make a very nice addition to a wall, it is probably much more sentimental and meaningful to someone else. Not sure what the value of it may even be.
Shoot me an email offline if you want to make an offer.
I have two of the Silver Anniversary billboards too-- was always going to wallpaper one wall in the garage or a basement, but never did. So apart from taking a couple of the panels out to look at them, they're still in the wrapper from the outdoor advertising company where I got them in `78.
Had no idea what the market on them might be . . .
