High beam pedal ?
Does anyone know how is this pedal incorporated into the carpet?

In my '69 it's rivited to the floor, under the carpet. The pedal justs rests on the switch.

The carpet goes OVER the pedal. In '68 and I think early '69 production, the carpet was plain, but later '69s have a vinyl piece sewn to the carpet. It is much like the vinyl on the footwell part of the carpet. It just gives some definition to the high beam switch.

Its so tight in my 68 down there I had to remove it. Everytime I shifted it seemed like I was clicking the switch on and off.
