Hey all, I acquired this corvette from my father. I think that it is an Eckler vette, but need some help with identifying what I actually have. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.
It is actually a 1976. I just need to know more about the car itself. I know that Ecklers sold kits, but also sold whole cars. I have yet to find any that look like the one that I have...
May have been done at Ecklers - -or more commonly at any Vette shop with "Greenwood Kit" parts. There was also a station wagon version of that kit that was interesting.
Many times, cars that had been seriously damaged were rebuilt using the aftermarket parts - -in the 70's, there really wasn't the kind of tracking that we have today to denote cars that had been totaled or wrecked.
Not that yours was necessarily wrecked- just that it was modified with aftermarket fiberglass parts as noted earlier.
