There's actually a "Help" forum that walks you through the 'how-to' on a variety of topics. Each forum also has a "search" feature that can get you answers fast.

Open two 'windows' on your computer. One with the Corvette Forum and the other with the photo site (Photobucket, etc). On the photo screen, find the photo you want to copy over and highlight the IMG tag. Then press "CTRL-C". Now shift over to the CF window and while writing your post, press "CTRL-V" where you want the photo to show. That should copy over the IMG address to your post. When you view the post, the photo should be there.

I'm not sure about snapfish links, but looking at this link you posted I can see it won't work. The link should begin with something that includes IMG.

A working Photobucket link looks like the one below, except that I removed the ] at the end so you could see it rather than have the picture show:
