I know about that celebration, as I have been there personally. My father is from Aarhus, Denmark, and one summer when we were visiting his family, we went there.

Maybe I know him :-) (no we are not that small a country :-)
C3_dk...One of my employees lives in Aarhus, and I was recently up there for week.
First of all, I may have just gotten lucky, but the weather was fantastic the whole time I was there; couldn't have asked for better.
Second, Aarhus is a great town, and I thoroughly enjoyed the people I met there. We went out to an Irish pub the night that Denmark played Germany in the Euro 2012. Unfortunate outcome to the game, but the Danish people were great.
Lastly, one of the days when Mark was driving me back to my hotel at Margrethepladsen, we went past a War Bonnet Yellow 71 or 72. I almost injured myself trying to whip my head around to get a longer look. That was after spotting a yellow 70-72 sitting inside a dealership somewhere along the way to Grenaa earlier that day. Now, I find out that there also a Riverside Gold '69 in town. For a relatively small city, Aarhus must be like Mecca for yellow/gold early C3's!
Next time I'm going that way for work, I'll try to get in touch and maybe we can meet up.

Regarding the weather, Yes you was lucky, that was a great week :-)
Today it is rain rain and rain.
Yes Aarhus is a great small city. And I can tell you we have many Corvette and other US classic car here. The Yellow is a 71, it is not for sale, it is the dealer own private car. It is a std. 350/270 auto Corvette.
I'm American, but I live in Torino, Italy. Don't see many Corvettes here, but occasionally a Ferarri. (usually sitting still since they are typical broken)
If you find yourself headed this way, give me a shout.
