1st Anniversary.
Leading up to this summer I tackled a bad rear caliper, which had me a tad nervous. The replacement was pain free, for the most part. I could not remove the steel brake pipe without destroying it so I left it be and after the learning curve that comes with installing brake pads the brake bleed when well and all is great.
The original altenator needed a bearing, now its a quiet running unit again, all of the guts refreshed. One of the P/S hoses, pressure from pump to the top of the valve, is leaking, ordered one from GM and it's taking it's sweet time getting here, so the car is marking it's territory for the moment. The driveline is giving the classic clunk into gear, so I need to start researching quality u-joints all around.
Anyway... putting some mileage on this summer, having a blast, and creating a growing list of projects. Wish I had the experience to contribute more, as the questions will come for sure, I appreciate the help. I work at a GM dealer, so if something come up you need checked, fire away.
