I installed a replacement quartz clock (from Clocks by Roger) in my ’75 last summer that had been sitting in a box since 2000. It has started to lose about 10 minutes per day.
All connections are clean and the wiring checks OK.
Any suggestions other than sending it out to get repaired?
First thing I would do is try setting it forward 12 hours and see if that helps.
Second, call Clocks by Roger and get his input.
I've converted a bunch to quartz, they are very susceptible to dirt OR a hair getting between the gear teeth, you might get by opening it up an cleaning.
