This is a test of a video to see if it'll work on here from photobucket. If it does, and you guys can see it, it is a video I took a few months after I bought the car. This is with the old engine. Sorry for the bad video quality, but you can see the way the car sounded. Hope it works.
The video worked for me if you click the picture. Let me know if it works for you guys, because I'll post the engine start up video this way. Also, if you plug headphones into your computer or have really good computer speakers, you can here the way it sounds pretty good. Thanks!!

Well this weekend was GREAT!! We got the beast running!! It almost went off without a hitch. While priming the oil pump with a priming tool, we heard a clicking noise. After worrying about having to pull the engine backout and doing a lot of research online, we figured that the sound was normal. So with a bit of worry, we decided we were still going to start the engine. We kind of just threw the vacuum lines together to get the engine running so it still doesn't look perfect. We'll do that next weekend. Even with all the head aches and set backs, once we started the engine, it gave us no problems and went off without a hitch. It was a great break for it to go that smoothly. It sounds great and is extremely strong. It's not fully broken in so I haven't really stepped on it, but it is so much better than the old engine. Here's a vid of the start up. It isn't the first start up, just because I was too busy on the first one to film, but this is the start up about a half hour after the first start up. The noise you hear first is the electric fans and then the engine starts. Sometimes you here a clanking noise, don't worry, thats just the flaps on the scoop that needs to be adjusted; they are vibrating. Also, to hear what the engine sounds like the best, use head phones or ear buds. I only filmed it with my phone so it sounds best with those. Hope you enjoy it, let me know what you guys think. Thanks guys, luckily Sandy didn't wash her away. Hope everyone on the forum is alright with the storm and all. She's running great, starts right up first turn of the key. Just wish I could drive it right now.
