Have the opportunity to buy a 73 code 953 yellow Corvette. This car has had one repaint it's entire life. Interior is all original in great shape, black leather, tilt, PW, A/c,auto. Everything works. It has about 100,000 on the odometer. This car is all original right down to the smog pump. It has the LS4 454 matching #engine. It has been pampered it's whole life as one can see by the condition it is in. Minor wear on the drivers seat but not much.No mods whatsoever, looks like it could be judged for originality. What is a car like this worth? Is this a desirable car that would be moved easily if I were wanting to sell it? Thanks for any info.
You haven't indicated anything about the brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, or drivetrain condition...other than 'everything works'. That leaves a big question-mark as to value. If the mechanicals are still the original parts, that car may be worth $13-17K, depending on coupe/conv. model. If the mechanicals have been redone (within 20K, or so), the car could be worth $16-20K, IMO.
Lots of talk lately on 73's here on the forum. Do a search and read what everyone is saying. One of my cars is a 73 BB and personally think it is great. 7T1vette, seems to be realistic with the value numbers. But it is you that has to decide if it is right for you.
Thanks guys. Seems some like them and some say they are OK. I personally like the look of them and they do get rid of the wiper problem. I need to find out some more about it. Really don't care for the automatic in a corvette but if it was a good investment I could live with it.

If you don't want an automatic, why buy one? Are you buying for yourself, a car to drive around and enjoy, or are you buying for investment? I'm sure there are standards out there for sale. Converting that one would destroy value, something I gather you're concerned about.
BTW: My first Corvette was a 73 with an automatic. OK car but for me personally, without the standard, it felt more like a cruiser than a hot rod.
You don't want an automatic...well then keep looking! Why buy a car you don't really want when there are thousands of cars out there and there is also probably someone who would like a 73 Big Block.....Also if you are trying to make an investment...I also suggest you look at a different car...the 73s are getting popular but I don't think it anything to try to "cash in" on....
But all of that is null and void...you don't want an automatic...
