Default 1973 A/C Fan Blower

There's a small hose that comes from the back of the fan blower and connect to the evaporator. What does this hose do and where can I find a replacement?
Thanks

No it connect to the back of the fan blower and it looks like it runs into the evaporator. It's about 3'' long soft rubber hose.

It's my understanding it cools the fan motor.

I updated the picture above to reflect the correct hose for 1968-1978 early and the 1978 late to 1982. I believe that the two will interchange and they are both the same length. The difference is the skinnier body on the early one and the length of fat end at the bottom.

Exactly what I was looking for. While I'm at it, is there a screen or other method to keep trash out of the blower fan cage? It's wide open on mine and thought I would at least fab up a round screen for it. Maybe there was something above it within the wiper area instead?
