I had my 1971 Corvette painted and have ongoing problems and wondered if anyone has experienced similar problems?
The products used are: Polysurfacer primer first; followed by Sikkens colorbuild primer; PPG Deltron DBC basecoat: with Sikkens clear as top coat! It was media blasted to remove orginal paint.
The paint has bubbled on car starting within first month! They have repainted and the problem has been on-going since 2006!! The door was repainted in June and bubbled immediately!!
There is probably an oil based product in the fiberglass (oil, wax, greasy hands, armor all, etc). The problem isnt with the paint itself and every new coat you put on it will continue to bubble. Post up some pics.

i don't know these products, but spi warms against soda blasting before using their epoxy primer. check with the suppliers of your products for possible problems.
If the blasting place had contaminated media,or someone improperly prepped after the blast.
its one of the chances you take with media blast. this is why, I chose razor method.
taken down to bare glass ? they are using good materials, Silkens and PPG.
if I had a car with a previous contamination problem,
it would ensure it was stripped to glass, and prepped properly,
I would then use a seal coat, like an SPI Epoxy sealcoat, then start with primer and paint.
somewhere along the line, someone has contaminated the body with something.
like a wipedown with a silicon product. It will be very difficult to get it clear now.
I had a hood like that once, in direct sun it broke out with mini bumps, once it cooled down the bumps wuld go away, what a pain.
The car has bubbled at different places; previously hood, redone no problem since; decklid redone no problem since; passenger door three times redone same result; now driver door is starting for first time!!
I would seek a new shop... the one working on your car obviously cannot repair it properly, or at least all at once. Here's the bad news... any new shop will certainly insist on a complete strip, re-prep and refinish if they are to guarantee their work. That should have happened at the old place as well as soon as more than one panel exhibited trouble; similar issues at opposing ends of the car are indicative of a carwide fault. Research the next painter carefully and check references thoroughly before you commit the time and funds again.
