I hope your bodywork skills are better than your photoshop skills.
Keep the shiny side up!

You do understand that it is the Concept that I am trying to get across. The Photo represents the Concept that I would like to Achieve. The "Photo" that I created in Photoshop is not the Finished Project by any means.
I really hope you understand that the photo is NOT the Finished Project. It is just a Draft/Concept.
I would think the people reading this understand that.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious. Just poking a little fun, that's all.

I'm thinking about putting a '69 camaro front clip on my '80 'vette, 'cuz I like '69 camaros so much. What do you think?

I actually like your photoshop skills and would like to ask if you could do it again, but this time on a '77. I'd like to see how it would look on my car.
I was just at the Paragon site looking at reproduction panels. Looks like they have everything you would need.
Mayan, If the tail followed the curve down, and extended beyond the tail light panel just a LITTLE bit, I think it might look good on the 77!
Like this.....

I think the trick is to find two photos that were taken from the same perspective in the first place. It also helps if the light source is coming from the same direction.
at the original poster do you have around $2-5k to throw at this project? if so it would be interesting to say the least an allot more people would like it than you think. not saying i like it but i can see it getting allot of attention at shows. if you don't have that much to put into dont start this project. you are looking at allot fiberglass cutting, fitting, refitting, recutting, customizing interior panels to match the outside, will it or won't it have a lift hatch rear window and paint and labor $$$ out the *** if your not doing it your self. if you are doing it your self you have allot more patients than i do. i hope you go with it just to see it completed but don't gut a pretty c3 if your not 100% sure you can finish it in a matter of months not years. it would be sad to see another project go up on cl with no buyers and the car get scrapped because of yet another "new custom vette" didnt get completed just destroyed

qoute :Now why didn't I think of that???Scottyp99, maybe you can find them for me.:
well here you go
well i changed my mind now that i have seen it i don't like it don't gut your car if you want a split rear window may i suggest this
I don't know..........these two 'vettes are pretty cool looking........I think it's all in the execution, that yellow wide-body 'vette, mmmmm, nope, don't like it for some reason. If you kept it clean and simple, it might be kinda cool looking, after all!
