Vin # info?
hey guys I know it is on here some where but i have not found it as of yet...I know there is a link or 2 in here that explains the vin # on my 1979 vette.....anyone know of such site...i found 1 online but for some reason the numbers do not agree with what they r saying sould be..thanks in advance

9 - 1979S - St. Louis, MO Assembly plant
4XXXXX - your last 5 digits of your VIN is your sequence number
So a 1Z8749S413675 would be a 1979 L82 coupe built in St. Louis, MO assembly plant and was the 13,675 corvette to roll off the line.
