Default CE Vert on eBay

I used to own an 81 that was converted to a vert and have always had one of these 82 vert clones as one of my "if I won the Lotto this is one of the Corvettes I would buy".
This one is based on an 80 with many of the CE options. Sounds interesting but I am not in the market anymore. If I was then I think I would want an LS2 motor in it.

Thats a pretty unusual car. Really nice overall. I wonder if there is anything from an 80 there except for the VIN and title though.

Hi,
It's strange to see a conversion with the top up.
I think often the 'details' for having a working top don't get worked out on 'car port' conversions.
So this one looks especially nice.
Regards,
Alan

I absolutely love it.

I had a black '81 convertible conversion but I like this even better. Great job.

I love the late C3 convertible conversions. There was a really hot black/red one that I use to see driving around in my home town.

If it wasn't so far away I would be tempted. It sure does look nice.

....it is very nicely done. I like it, hell I may bid on it. Only thing different that I would have done is to have used a real '80 4spd car....

.....or how about an L-82 1980, correctly converted to a 4spd L-82 1980, then into a CE convertible.

the paint mismatch killed it for me. It will be very noticable and people will always question it's accident history

Car is interesting indeed. I wonder why someone put that much time and money into that conversion? The interior would not have been cheap, and the graphics were not cheap either. Then there is the conversion. I would assume 2 different cars were built into one.

BTW, I would think if you wanted it to appear as a CE, the many stripes would have been added. When I first saw the pictures, I knew something was missing.
