OK guys, while not in my 60's, not getting any younger either. I've always been into physical fitness. I still go to the gym couple times a week, and watch the junk food. Don't think there's any age limit on doing this.
Unfortunately the only alternative to "not getting older" is death. I will gladly hurt myself trying to do "youthful" activity and bitch about it after missions accomplished .
That's always my 1st thought when I hear "don't get old".
What's the God %&#@ choise?

I must waste an hour a day looking for my glasses. I usually put them in a spot so I won't lose them. And then forget the spot.
I'm happy I am not the only one
Do you ever notice you can't find t-shirts with front pockets anymore? My Wife found some last week and we bought the inventory. I am far-sighted and just need glasses for reading. I switch back-and-forth between those glasses and driving sunglasses in one pocket. Keeps me sane.
Just passed 65 in May. My wife gets 50 pound sacks of dog food and I notice that 50 pounds weighs a lot more than it used to. But I like the saying "It's not how old you are but rather how you're old". Now to live it.
I'm sure an old guy invented the automotive lift while laying on his back doing an oil change and wondering IF he was going to be able to get up without calling for help.
If we're fortunate, we graduate from Sears Craftsman jacks used to lift it high enough to wedge some 6x6 blocks under out in Mom's carport, and you and the neighbor kid using a come-along strung from the rafters during summer vacation to concrete floored garages equipped with A/C, a beverage refrigerator, a lift and an electric hoist strung from a gantry. Still need the neighbor occasionally; it sucks to drink alone.
my problem with the glasses is even worse.just when i think they are misplaced i discover i'm wearing them.
I'm 47, and I don't wear glasses.........yet. But lately, when I try to read something, I have begun to notice that my arms are getting shorter..........I am starting to have trouble holding things far enough away that I can focus on them! I know all you guys over 50 know what I'm talking about!
They say the eyes are the second thing to go........I can't seem to remember what the first thing is...........
Got a few years on you, (39) but still, who sang that, I'm much too young to feel this damned old? Got a Dr's appointment in a few days to see if I need my vertebrae in my neck fused Is this a sign of old age when your aches and pains don't go away in a few days time, or at all? Scary shiiit!! All you "young-uns" out there better enjoy stuff like roller coasters, playing sports and feeling fairly decent when you get outta bed in the morning!
