Bumper extension brace not right?
The ones that came with my project look like this

And the aim and parts catalogs show them like so

do I replace? rebend? or finish putting the front end together and see if they fit like that?

ZThe picture of the one in your link looks like the one on my 72, and would not be correct for the 73. I think you need to keep going with what you have. Unfortunately none of my 73's have had that bumper extension support attached. I do have a few boxes of parts, and I recall seeing some brackets that look like the one in your picture.

The set up in your pic does not look stock to me. I will not be able to check the AIM until this evening.

I guess I left that detail out in my hurry to post this before i left this morning. Its a 74. My aim pic looks the same as Mikes. Makes me think I need new ones
Curby thinks it might be right though. Possibly there is some variation in how they were put together?
Maybe I need to do some test fitting before I decide how to proceed.

I think the brackets are something someone made.. they don't look correct, maybe they are bent. I think I have a nose with brackets too.. so tomorrow I'll check this and see.

Yeppers, my nose has brackets... 15.00 for the pair used if you want them. They have been cleaned and painted too... Give Norm or Tommy a call at 812-288-7103...
