Wow ... and a great personal story to go with it ! BTW ... I'm very partial to the LS5 454. For a road car, sports car, GT car ............ torque is amazing
And that engine is sooo easy to add power !
If I ever replace my engine it'll be a big block with mountains of low & mid range torque
Recently bought this 1975 one owner coupe with 42K miles. Amazing driver considering most suspension parts are original. Lots of leaks, having sat since 2013. Already driven it 1000 miles in the cool weather here. Probably not so good in the Arizona summer weather, but will try to get the ac working.
Tilt, tele, PW, PS ,PB, auto, L48, leather seats (original and in good shape), just a great car.

That's awesome! I have the same colors, no AC, and my top was lost early in life Not sure yet if it was black vinyl but I suspect so. Also searching for the correct hood.
