Default question on `69

Hi All,

Curious to what y`all would pay for a original red-red `69
conv. former Bloomington Gold survivor, pop, tank sticker
owner history etc. 4spd 350-300 low optioned Vette.

Car is in Arizona spent most of its life up north

I`ve got an inspection report from Carchex and pics.
Don``t use these people on a classic car inspection
they suck, ended up getting a refund because of lies
the inspector told.

I`VE included a pic of the front suspension which
looks crusty, car wasn`t driven thats part of the problem
with Carchex. Paint is original and has some checking.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
John

Looks sorta rusty for an Arizona car . .especially along the bottom of the radiator support . . .I don't think there's any way to value a car like that from those photos - -frankly, anywhere from $15-low $20s if it was really pristine . . and from the underside front, it wouldn't appear so.

What are they asking ?

If you'd like, send a PM on where it is located here - -I can try to grab a look-see this weekend. There are alot of forum members in the Phoenix area.

Good luck

Hi John,
This MIGHT be an interesting car.
The first thing I'd like to know is when the car received it's Survivor award and did it pass on 3 or 4 of the categories.
Also, what were the scores in the categories. Do the judging sheets get returned to the owner? If so are they available?
This will give you some quantitative info about the car and what some experienced judges thought of it.
Do you WANT a Survivor type car? They bring with them certain pleasures but also certain pains.
Regards,
Alan

Thats a good question, I know that it scored a 96 on the body.
I know that I will have to live with some imperfections. Judging
sheets are available. She sold at Mecum 5 years ago for $40k.
I can buy at $28k free enclosed shipping @ $2k.

I`M going to go and look at this 454 4spd today. Kinda got that Motion look with the rear fender flares.

Hi John,
When I compare the 2 pictures I begin to wonder how IF one of those two cars could make a new owner happy, how the other one could?
Those are 2 VERY different cars and to my mind interesting to 2 different owners.
Regards,
Alan

I just came out of a Z06.

What can I say I like big buts too.

My Corvette interest are varied, if I had the space
and money I would own more than one.
