Is that a '78 Emblem on the front?

Yep. Previous owner also attached L82 badges to it that I removed and replaced the first week I had the car (it's an L48), and some of the interior he bought was for the wrong years. No idea why. It's getting a major makeover over the next few years, and I'll be butchering every purist's standards when I personalize the car to my own tastes anyway, so I'm not particularly concerned.

Thanks. Mechanically speaking, she's in great shape now that all the real issues have been resolved. The only thing left to do is change the differential for more comfortable highway speeds, and that's it for musts, and onto wants. :P

The interior is getting a total restoration/replacement. The paint will also need either a fix (if I keep the color, since it's badly applied in places), or a redo (considering a darker, deeper blue).

What sort of look will you be going for on yours?

Since I got a new paint job on mine and I love it i'm obviously going to keep it but I plan on redoing the interior in black leather rather than the dark blue cloth I have right now, my carpets worn and there are holes in my seats, dash cracked and panels don't fit haha. My car runs great but I also plan on dressing up the engine bay a little bit.

Its an intersting dark blue with a hint of green in different light. Not sure exactly when it was repainted but still in really good shape

Wow. That looks like something that'll stand on its rear wheels with minimal depression of the gas pedal. Even if you don't know what it is, it screams "MONSTER". Awesome. What's it got under the hood?

That's similar to my car. It's mechanically great, but the interior is just old and worn and cracked. I'm eyeing a full blood-red interior for my restoration with ridiculous, obnoxious Corvette badges and American flags everywhere (not quite, but you get the picture.) :P

Thank you for the kind words. SBC 400 with a blow thru Procharger. Something i started redoing for my father back in the late 90's and then i moved away and the car just sat, it's never run. My father just gave me the car a few weeks ago so i'm looking to redo everything.

You should be able to shim up that cowl vent to line up with the wiper door a little better. Nice blue 72.

the wiper wont retract completely , it stops the door from closing all the way. trying to figure it out.
