Here's my '69 Coupe I just brought home to Michigan!
Was originally 900 Tuxedo Black, but was re-sprayed in something other than '69 LeMans Blue (I'm convinced).
I'm no color expert, but when I line my photos up with some of 1970/71 blues (Bridgehampton), I swear it looks closest to that color.
I like the color it is, much more than the proper '69 LeMans Blue (I would have preferred the original Black, but this color really reached out to me).
Any input or opinions?
Or guidance on how to get an existing paint job color-matched?
Thanks!

Color?
Here are 2 pics of my recently repainted LeMans Blue 69. One is in the booth, one is more naturally lit. You can see some variation just based on lighting. I did select a color that, per the manufacturer, was the correct formula for LeMans Blue and I did compare two different paint manufacturers' samples against the door jamb, which was original paint.
Short answer: it might be LeMans Blue and it might not be! Very pretty car, though, and that's what's most important!

This is a survivor, with the original engine and paint which I believe to be 72 Bryar Blue.
I just bought it last week and drove it about 100 miles home, its at the shop getting a once-over for any safety concerns ... She needs some TLC but seems to be in good shape otherwise. The interior had leather and carpet replaced in 2012 and although the previous owner had a receipt that showed the rear axle trailing arm bearings were also done then which was 6,000 miles ago they have significant slop in them now ... about 1/2" at the top of the tire on the left and not quite as bad on the right.

JR9170 , thanks I have a lot of TLC to do but it's very solid , got lucky on this one , the gentleman passed away a few years ago , and it was stored at a friends house for quite a few years . I did not want the car to go to someone that would have just flipped it . so I kepted it and will bring it back to it's original beauty. Another pic

Here is my 78 in ice blue that my Dad bought new in November of 1977. He had it painted in a scheme similar to the silver anniversary in two tone blue by his buddy that had a body shop as soon as he brought it home, since he thought it looked too plain in just the ice white. Dark blue is a 1977 metallic Cadillac color. Dark blue interior. I rebuilt the entire driveline last year- 4 speed is a new Richmond Super T-10. L48 was just rebuilt. Bored and stroked to 388 cubic inches, flat top forged aluminum pistons, forged steel crank, heads ported and polished with bigger valves, Crane Cams, black powder coated Hooker long tube headers, aluminum L82 intake manifold. Dressed up a bit with 1977 L82 valve covers and ignition shielding. My Mom used to drive me around in this thing when I was a kid!
