Default question on headers

will the collectors on a set of headers line up with the exhaust that is on my 70 small block or do i need to replace the whole exhaut system .
i have camel hump heads on it and when i do a seach for it on ecklers it brings me to ZZ4 D-Port headers . what the heck is that

Knowing who made the current set would help. Other than that there is some play in the exhaust system but nobody could guarantee it would line up with a different set of headers. To find headers try sites like www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com

I doubt it's likely. If you're running the stock exhaust manifolds it's not going to happen at all.

Every set of headers has its own set of outlet angles and lengths. Your exhaust will probably be somewhat close. It's usually best to get an exhaust shop to do the connection. You can get some flex pipe at the auto parts store to run from the collectors to the exhaust pipe also. That idea won't pass inspection here in Texas. It might get you to the muffler shop though.
