Default Flex Plate

Well i just dont know. I have spent so much money on my car my wife is going to kill me one day. And it is still just sitting there all apart.
Got some supposedly some killer 350 engine in the car.

Well ripped off again (i hope not)

Anyway i shimmed starter it wouldn't engage the flex plate. As i was starting it i noticed that the flex plate was wobbling. Going to take engine out. When i was under the car i checked one bolt connected to the torque converter it was lose. **** what a great mechanic i had.

Should i take the engine out still or tighten the bolts on the Converter and use locktite?

if the flexplate was wobbling, the bolts to the crank may also be loose.

So should just tighten the bolts or pull the motor. My mechanic just put it the motor in.When it did run witch wasn't long in neutral it sounded great. When put in gear it sounded like crap?

Just slide the transmission back a few inches or drop it. A lot easier than pulling the engine.

I would start by taking out the torque converter bolts and see if the flex plate still wobbles or feels loose and go from there.

About 15 minute fix if that's problem.
