clock parts ??
Hi,
the coil (open frame solenoid) from my electric clock is burned off.
Does anybody know where to buy these parts ?
May be a factory for aftermarked clocks ?
I´m looking for 3-4 of these parts.
Please help me.

Not available. You can purchase a quartz clock made to look exactly like your model year, but it won't have 1/2 second 'ticks', it won't 'whirr' every two minutes when the solenoid rewinds the spring, and it will last a lot longer.
But, if you want the 'real deal', I suggest that you call Ernie at Willcox Corvette Parts and see if he has a good "core" clock and a rebuild kit for it. He has mentioned on this Forum that he has a stock of old clocks that need rebuilding. Maybe he will make you a deal on a clock and repair kit. Good luck!
