My Automatic choke does not work.
My automatic choke lost its power so it wont work I will have to figure out this winter what is wrong.But I would like to drive my car to one last car show this Sunday the problem is with out my choke not working the car in park idle at 1100 rmp and 900 rpm in gear.So when I go to shut the car off at 1100rpm the motor does not like it.Can I turn the idle down about 200 rpm and run it that way.The carb on the car is a holley 670 street advenger.

With the engine at normal temp, when you remove the air cleaner is the choke open or closed?

I'm thinking that Holley has an electric choke heat coil? If it does, mark the black cap and the housing so you know where they are in reference to each other- then loosen the 3 screws that hold the cap and rotate it one way and see if the choke wants to open or close- set it so it's open and snug the screws. That will get you running for the show.
FWIW- my 69 has not had an operating choke since 1971 and it's been fine. In fact, the carb that's on there now has no provision or air horn for a choke.
