Props to Willcox Corvette
I've been a pretty loyal Eckler's customer since I first met Ralph back in the mid-70's and through the various transitions, still think they do a pretty good job.
But given the positive comments I 've read regularly about Willcox, I thought I'd give them a shot when buying a set of chrome lugs for a set of C3 aluminum wheels I restored after buying them from another forum member (and putting TA's on them today).
There's a car show coming up- Prescott Vette Sette in Prescott, AZ next Saturday Sept 29th, and I wanted to debut the new wheels/tires. The lugs I received from the PO were okay and would have cleaned up I'm sure- but I'm out of town all next week on business and thought I'd get new ones.
Willcox had a 10% off deal, and I ordered them for about $33 plus shipping- but the promise of 7-10 day delivery meant they probably wouldn't get here in time to use. I had resolved to find time tomorrow to clean up the old ones.
Well, the new set arrived in 4 days- more then enough time to get things mounted up tomorrow before heading out at 0500 Monday.
